Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 15, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy explains the conduct expected from schools and users on ClassPoint and the types of misuse that can lead to restriction, suspension, or termination of access.

Legitimate use only

ClassPoint may be used only for legitimate school and administrative purposes. The platform is intended to support school operations such as records management, attendance, results, communications, fee tracking, parent access, and structured school workflows.

Users must act in a way that protects the platform, other users, and the confidentiality of school, parent, student, and staff information.

Prohibited misuse

You may not use ClassPoint to engage in misuse, abuse, or harmful activity. This includes actions that compromise security, interfere with the service, or expose school data inappropriately.

  • Attempting unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or tenant workspaces
  • Sharing credentials in a way that bypasses intended role-based access controls
  • Uploading malware, harmful code, deceptive files, or content intended to disrupt operations
  • Using the service for spam, harassment, phishing, scraping, or bulk extraction of data without authorization
  • Misusing parent, student, staff, or school information for unrelated, unlawful, or abusive purposes
  • Testing, probing, or overloading the service in a way that degrades availability or reliability

Data, content, and credential responsibility

Schools and users remain responsible for the content they upload, send, or manage through ClassPoint. You should only use information that you are authorized to process and only share it with the users who are permitted to receive it.

Any attempt to expose confidential school, parent, or student information outside approved workflows, or to misuse credentials to gain broader access, may be treated as a serious violation.

Enforcement and suspension

ClassPoint may investigate suspected misuse, restrict access, suspend accounts, or terminate service access where activity appears to violate this policy, threaten the platform, or create risk for schools and their users.

Where appropriate, we may also take action to preserve evidence, notify the affected school, or cooperate with lawful requests relating to abuse or security incidents.

Updates and contact

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as the platform evolves. The version published on this page is the current public version.
