Quick rules

First valid referral source wins for 60 days.
Customer and partner referrals are separate programs.
Rewards and commissions only become eligible after the referred school records its first paid invoice.
App-admin approval is required before a reward is applied or a partner payout is marked paid.
Duplicate, existing, fraudulent, and self-referrals can be rejected or disqualified.

Customer referral terms

Existing ClassPoint schools may refer other schools using their assigned referral link or code.

Customer referrals are for schools already using ClassPoint that want to introduce another school to the platform. Each referring school receives a unique referral code or link tied to its own workspace.

A customer referral only qualifies if the referred school is genuinely new to ClassPoint, has not already been assigned to another valid referral source within the attribution window, and proceeds to become a paying customer under the platform’s normal onboarding flow.

Partner program terms

Approved partners may register leads or share partner referral links after acceptance into the partner program.

Partner referrals are reserved for approved ClassPoint partners. Partner status is granted only after application review and may be paused, suspended, or revoked by ClassPoint.

Partners may only market ClassPoint honestly, may not impersonate ClassPoint staff, and may not make product, pricing, implementation, or support commitments outside what ClassPoint has formally approved.

Attribution and first-source rule

Attribution is time-bound and applied to the first valid source that reaches the lead.

ClassPoint uses an attribution window of 60 days. During that period, the first valid referral source that reaches and qualifies the lead is the source that owns the opportunity for MVP attribution purposes.

If a lead is later touched by another referrer or partner but the original source is still valid inside the attribution window, the later submission may be marked duplicate or rejected.

Reward and commission rules

Customer rewards and partner commissions are separate and do not stack on the same side of the program.

Customer reward highlight: 1 free month or account credit approved by ClassPoint app-admin.

Partner commission highlight: Starter: ₦50,000. Growth: ₦100,000. Other paid tiers: one-third of the first successful term payment unless a fixed override is configured..

For MVP purposes, ClassPoint does not offer recurring lifetime commissions, automated bank payouts, or automatic reward application. All reward and payout actions remain subject to internal review and manual execution.

Eligibility, approval, and payout timing

Conversion alone is not enough. Payment and approval are required before value is applied.

A referral becomes reward-eligible or commission-eligible only after the referred school records its first paid invoice on ClassPoint. Trials, unpaid signups, or incomplete onboarding do not create eligibility.

ClassPoint requires manual app-admin approval before any customer reward is applied or any partner payout is released. Current payout timing: Manual monthly review and payout after app-admin approval.

Duplicate, existing lead, and existing customer rules

Referrals must be genuinely new and must not conflict with an already known account or lead.

A referral may be rejected if the referred school already exists on ClassPoint, already has a pending signup, has already been captured by a valid earlier source, or is otherwise known to ClassPoint through an active sales or onboarding process.

ClassPoint may use school name, email, phone number, subdomain, internal records, or other operational signals to determine whether a lead is duplicate, existing, or already assigned.

Self-referral rules

A school or partner may not refer itself or use closely related details to create artificial eligibility.

Customer self-referrals are prohibited. A school may not refer itself, another workspace under the same school identity, or a lead that clearly uses the referring school’s own contact, domain, or subdomain footprint.

Partner self-referrals are also prohibited. A partner may not submit its own organization as a lead or use fake, recycled, or controlled identities to manufacture commission eligibility.

Rejection and disqualification rules

ClassPoint may reject or disqualify referrals that fail program rules.

A referral may be rejected or disqualified for reasons including duplicate ownership, existing customer status, self-referral, invalid contact data, misleading marketing, fraud indicators, abuse of the signup process, or failure to meet payment and approval requirements.

Where appropriate, ClassPoint may record a rejection or disqualification reason in internal referral logs and admin tooling.

Tax and compliance note

Partners remain responsible for their own taxes, filings, and legal compliance.

Any partner payout made by ClassPoint is treated as consideration for the partner’s referral activity under the partner program. The partner is responsible for its own tax position, registrations, invoicing requirements, and legal compliance obligations.

ClassPoint may request supporting compliance or payout information before approving or marking a payout as paid.

Dispute handling

Attribution and payout disputes are reviewed by ClassPoint using internal records and program rules.

If a school or partner disputes attribution, eligibility, rejection, or payout treatment, the dispute must be raised with ClassPoint using the support and admin contacts listed on this page.

ClassPoint may review referral visits, lead records, timestamps, audit logs, partner submissions, signup history, and payment events. ClassPoint’s final determination controls the MVP program outcome.

Fraud and abuse prevention

Fraud, manipulation, or abuse can lead to immediate disqualification or program removal.

ClassPoint may suspend, reject, claw back, or permanently disqualify any referral, reward, commission, partner account, or school participation if it detects fraud, fake submissions, identity recycling, manipulated attribution, misleading claims, or abusive use of the program.

ClassPoint may also pause a payout while it investigates suspicious activity or inconsistent lead data.

Program changes

ClassPoint may update or discontinue the program and these terms at any time.

ClassPoint may change reward values, commission values, eligibility requirements, approval processes, attribution logic, supported channels, or operational rules at any time.

Continued participation in the referral or partner program after an updated version is published means the participant accepts the revised terms for future activity.

Acceptance and contact

Participation in the program requires acceptance of these terms.

By applying as a partner, logging in to the partner portal, or activating referral sharing from a school admin account, you confirm that you have read and accepted the current Partner & Referral Terms.

Questions or disputes may be sent to support@classpoint.ng or partners@classpoint.ng.
